Jazzy Swinging Spirit Filled Blues at Agape’s Hanger June 2010

The Agape's Hanger was packed and the crowd was energized by God’s grace and fueled by the Holy Spirit!

And daring enough to provide a backdrop of music for such a spirit filled event was drummer, Michael Pignotti.

Grounded with God’s grace and gifted with musical talent and leadership skills Mike picked up a percussionist on the fly to accompany the combo at the Agape event…that decision in itself made more than just a few hearts smile!

SWING TIDE COMBO and Agape Flights “Soaring Celebration.” Kick-off went into the history books without a hitch!

Great Big Thank you to Jack Forseen who made it to the AGAPE HANGER, from a Friday night “gig” in Orlando. Of course we juiced him up with a FAT CUP of CAFÉ MOLIDO, from Santo Domingo.

Jack’s reply to the coffee- Brilliant pitch, as he laid down the melody for the SWING TIDE COMBO as only Jack and his Saxophone can.

Art’s name addresses just that "Art," the voice of Art’s guitar sends Art Carson’s solos on a dazzling path of uniqueness.

Dave Tucker on his electric bass guitar hung on to the groove that was ever present and prayerfully laid down.

I enjoyed the music and know that it will get even better as more opportunities for these musicians play together in venues that are supercharged with God’s grace!

Agape Flights Hangar 100 Airport Avenue, Venice, Florida SATURDAY 26th JUNE at 11:00 a.m.

Agape Flights will have the 1st of several events to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Keith and Clara Starkey’s non-profit ministry they named “Agape.”

Keith and Clara’s vision in 1980 was to deliver supplies to missionaries in Haiti to help them in their Christian ministries of hope and healing.

The beautiful “Bandit” will be out in the yard…the Embraer 110, awaiting the special dedication at 1:00 p.m. So to jazz up the hanger in “Bandit’s” absence…Four guest musicians who will be on hand to provide a festive atmosphere while the “Bandit Burgers” and “ Soaring Sundaes” are cooking and cooling.

Agape Flights is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, Christian ministry that provides ongoing and critical support services to close to 400 missionary families that work in Haiti, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas. Agape provides coordination and support getting supplies and services to the island nations in the Caribbean for the missionaries via air support on “Bandit,” from Agape’s hanger and home base at the Venice Florida Airport.

YOU CAN help by praying for the missionaries and checking out Agape Flights web site to find out more about this important ministry. You can see the missionaries’ current needs and you can read the stories about the missionary families- their victories and struggles plus updates from missionaries in the field, many from the earthquake regions of Haiti.
