It must be true because Nancy Verde Barr said "For all those first Italian-Americans who knew that food meant so much more than eating" she dedicated her book of: An American Heritage of Southern Italian Cooking...the book was called "WE CALLED IT MACARONI"
*Note....But if it were only about the food...WOW...you would not be disappointed it is truly a close your eyes and shake your head great experience!
On Saturday night March 13th 2010, the organ player Mike was out for a week so Jack pulled in Lowell who plays jazz guitar. And Mike was able to get Dave the Bass player to come on down to Mangiafico's in Venice and the Swing Tide Combo worked it out!

Make Sure to come down on a Saturday Night to hear the "SWING TIDE COMBO" they play during dinner they start at 6:30 and play till 9:00...and sometimes longer...I guess it depends on how the tips are going...
